A giant crocodile, the size of a bus, has climbed onto a huge ocean oil rig in bright daylight and grabbed a worker in its mouth. It backs slowly toward the open edge of the platform as other workers run up the metal stairs. High above, a safety net is strung over the lower deck, and a crane holds a heavy load of steel pipes. Sound: roaring sea wind, crunching metal stairs, men shouting, croc hissing, crane motors, radio voices. Shot 1 (0–3s) — THE HOOK: Low shot across the rig floor. The giant crocodile holds a worker in hi-vis overalls in its mouth and drags him backward toward the edge, its tail knocking over fuel drums. Workers scramble up the stairs, banging on the railings. One man yells into his radio: "IT'S GOT HIM! IT'S BACKING HIM TO THE EDGE!" Shot 2 (3–6s): Up in the crane cab. The crane operator, an older man in a hard hat, grips his levers and looks down at the croc through the glass. He answers on the radio, calm and fast: "I see it. Get the net under him. When he drops, I swing the pipes — everybody clear the deck!" Shot 3 (6–9s): Back on the rig floor. The crocodile shakes its head — the worker slips out of its jaws and falls, landing safely in the big safety net below. The croc spins and lunges after him toward the net, jaws wide. The operator's eyes lock on. He pulls the lever. Shot 4 (9–13s) — BIG SLOW-MOTION MOMENT: Bullet time — the huge load of steel pipes swings around on the crane in slow motion, a wall of heavy steel crossing the frame — and slams into the side of the lunging crocodile. The pipes hammer it sideways off the platform, the croc twisting in the air, sea spray and loose bolts hanging around its body as it falls. Shot 5 (13–15s): Time snaps back. The crocodile crashes far below into the ocean in a giant white splash. The swinging pipes slow to a stop over the empty edge. Workers pull the saved man out of the net, the wind blowing hard across the rig.
