The woman watches her leave. Silence. At the far end of the corridor is a distant cross-passage. The elderly woman stares toward it. A figure slowly appears. She disappears behind the wall. Silence. The elderly woman continues staring. Nothing happens. She slowly relaxes. A sigh of relief. Then— A faint scratching sound from above. The woman looks confused. Another scratching sound. Closer. She slowly looks upward. Hanging upside down directly above her wheelchair is the same woman. Milky white eyes. Decaying skin.
