An army supply depot at night, rows of fuel tanks and trucks under bright floodlights. A slimy alien with long tentacles has wrapped itself around a fuel truck's hose line, and the fuel is leaking onto the ground. No one can shoot near it — one spark could blow up the whole depot. A technician who works on the depot's water systems every day is at the sprinkler control box. A soldier stands ready nearby with a length of live wire. Sound: hissing fuel, dripping water, alien hissing, shouting, radio voices. Shot 1 (0–3s) — THE HOOK: Low shot along the fuel line. The alien's tentacles are wrapped tight around the hose, squeezing it, fuel spraying out onto the ground below. Soldiers back away with their rifles lowered — too dangerous to fire here. One shouts into his radio: "NOBODY SHOOT! IT'LL BLOW THE WHOLE YARD!" Shot 2 (3–6s): At the sprinkler control box, the technician grabs the big lever, watching the fuel spread across the yard. He calls on the radio: "Flooding it now! Get the wire ready!" Nearby, a soldier holds a long live wire, waiting for his signal. Shot 3 (6–9s): The technician pulls the lever. Sprinklers burst on across the whole yard, water pouring down and washing the spilled fuel away, leaving the ground soaked but safe. The alien, still wrapped on the hose, is now standing in a wide flooded puddle, alone in the open water. Shot 4 (9–13s) — BIG SLOW-MOTION MOMENT: The soldier throws the live wire into the flooded ground. Bullet time — the wire spins through the air in slow motion, water droplets hanging around it, sparks already jumping off the tip — and it lands in the puddle right beside the alien. Shot 5 (13–15s): Time snaps back. Electricity rips across the flooded ground in a bright flash, lighting up the alien from every side as it shakes and drops. The fuel truck sits safe and untouched. Soldiers watch from a distance as the sparks die down. Cut.
