A jungle landing zone in grey daylight, a cleared patch of mud and grass ringed by thick rainforest. A helicopter is trying to lift off with wounded men aboard, a heavy cargo sling hanging below it. A giant alien — brownish-black, slimy, with long whipping tentacles — has dropped into the zone and grabbed the helicopter's skids, dragging it back down. At the tree line, a soldier runs to the anti-air gun. Sound: straining rotor blades, wet tentacles slapping, shouting men, the alien's low roar, radio voices. Shot 1 (0–3s) — THE HOOK: Low shot up at the landing zone. The helicopter is a few meters off the ground, engine screaming, fighting to climb — but the giant alien's slimy tentacles are wrapped around the skids, pulling it back down toward the mud, the chopper tilting and spinning. The pilot wrestles the controls and shouts into his radio: "IT WON'T LET ME UP!" Shot 2 (3–6s): At the tree-line anti-air gun. A soldier drops behind the big gun, loads it, and swings the barrel toward the alien — but holds his fire, the chopper still in its grip. He calls on the radio: "Dump the sling! Break loose!" Shot 3 (6–9s): At the helicopter. The pilot hits the release and the heavy cargo sling drops away — the tentacles, caught on the falling sling, are dragged down with it. The alien slides off the skids and drops onto the open landing zone with the sling, rearing up tall and clear in the mud. The freed helicopter lurches upward. Shot 4 (9–13s) — BIG SLOW-MOTION MOMENT: The alien is out in the open now, away from the chopper. The soldier fires the anti-air gun. Bullet time — a stream of glowing shells flies across the zone in slow motion, smoke and shell cases hanging in the air, smashing into the alien, slime and mud bursting off its body as its tentacles fling outward. Shot 5 (13–15s): Time snaps back. A big burst of fire and slime blows the alien backward into the mud, where it drops and lies still. The helicopter steadies, climbs up out of the zone, and pulls away over the trees. Smoke drifts across the landing zone.
