A grey armoured truck smashes through the front barricade in a cloud of dust. Wide, lens flare across the smoke. Shot 1 — (~4s) Rahul reaches a container doorway where two khaki gunmen block the way. He knocks the first one's rifle aside, headbutts him, then grabs the second by the collar and slams him into the steel wall. Heavy, close hand-to-hand. Speed-ramp on the hits, low angle. Shot 2 — (~4s) Aly climbs the crane ladder under fire and reaches the cab beside the hanging net of red fuel drums. She braces her rifle and picks off khaki gunmen in the yard below, one by one. Camera cranes up with her, then cuts to her high view down on the yard. Shot 3 — (~4s) Behind a container, two khaki gunmen guard the tied-up hostages. Aly shoots one from the crane; Rahul comes round the corner and drops the other, cuts the ropes, and waves the hostages down behind the steel container. Cross-cut: Aly's shot from above, then Rahul moving in low. Shot 4 — (~3s) From his balcony the warlord in the green coat sees the hostages freed. He runs down to the tan gun-truck and his men swing the mounted gun toward Aly's crew. Whip-pan following the warlord down to the gun-truck. PROMPT 3 — ALL IS LOST → PAYOFF (≈15s, 5 shots) · continues directly from Prompt 2 (reference that clip) Opens on: the warlord reaching the tan gun-truck, the team in the yard, the crane and weapons store nearby. Shot 1 — (~3s) The warlord in the green coat lights the fuse on the weapons store — a sparking line racing toward the green crates and red fuel drums — then drops behind the tan gun-truck. Tight low shot on the fuse sparking and running. Shot 2 — (~3s) The gun-truck's mounted gun opens up and pins the red-armband crew behind a container, shredding the steel; one crew man's rifle clicks empty. Trapped, low on ammo, the fuse burning closer. Low angle, rounds tearing the container, dust bursting. Shot 3 — (~3s) Rahul shoves the freed hostages and the crew flat behind a big steel container, spreads his arms to hold them down, and points up at Aly on the crane. Handheld, tight on Rahul shielding them. Shot 4 — (~3s) THE PAYOFF. High on the crane, Aly swings the heavy net of red fuel drums out over the tan gun-truck and hits the release. BULLET TIME: the drums drop and burst open above the truck, fuel and the first lick of fire hanging in the air around the warlord and his gun. Low angle looking up at the falling drums. Shot 5 — (~5s) TIME SNAPS BACK: the fuel catches and the gun-truck erupts — the fireball reaches the lit weapons store beside it, and the whole compound goes up in a chain of huge explosions, crates and fuel drums blasting one after another, fireballs rolling across the docks, walls and crane blowing apart. Aly swings down off the crane on a cable and drops behind the container with Rahul and the hostages as the wall of fire roars over them.
