A jungle army base at night, deep in thick wet rainforest. Tents, sandbags, floodlights, an open dirt yard, and a low concrete ammo bunker stacked with shells. A giant alien — brownish-black, slimy, with long whipping tentacles — has torn open the ammo bunker and is dragging a soldier across the ground toward the stacked shells. On the watchtower, a gunner loads a mounted gun. Sound: tearing concrete, wet tentacles slapping, shouting men, the alien's low roar, radio voices. Shot 1 (0–3s) — THE HOOK: Low shot across the floodlit yard. The giant alien rips the steel door off the ammo bunker with one set of tentacles while another wraps a soldier's legs, dragging him backward across the mud toward the open bunker full of shells. He claws at the ground. Men scatter between the tents. One shouts into his radio: "IT'S DRAGGING HIM TO THE SHELLS!" Shot 2 (3–6s): Up on the watchtower. The gunner swings his mounted gun toward the alien, but holds his fire — the soldier still in the tentacles, the bunker right there. He calls down on the radio: "Break loose! Run clear!" Shot 3 (6–9s): At the soldier. He pulls a knife and slashes the slimy tentacle around his legs, breaks free, and runs clear of the bunker across the open yard. The alien, now empty-handed, slides forward out of the bunker into the open middle of the yard, rearing up tall and clear in the floodlights, the stacked shells behind it. Shot 4 (9–13s) — BIG SLOW-MOTION MOMENT: The alien is out in the open now, the ammo bunker right behind it. The gunner fires. Bullet time — a stream of heavy rounds flies across the yard in slow motion, smoke and shell cases hanging in the air, smashing into the alien and ripping into the bunker behind it. The shells catch — a huge fireball blooming around the alien. Shot 5 (13–15s): Time snaps back. The whole bunker goes up in one massive rolling fireball, shells cooking off in bursts, fire and slime shooting into the night sky. Soldiers dive into the mud as the rescued man scrambles clear of the blast. Cut.
